Agile vs. Waterfall
In software engineering, there are two primary development processes. These are the Agile process, and the Plan and Document process, also known as “Waterfall”. The Agile process involves smaller teams working on many, smaller scale pieces of a project that evolves dynamically as development continues. Waterfall development relies on a master design document that dictates the specifications of the project. Agile development allows for more fluid development, but the projects can often lose focus. Waterfall development typically remains static and deliver projects within a very specific specification.
